Hi, I am Sajal, a UX/Product Designer. At the heart of my work is a commitment to user-centric design, creating digital products that are not only functional but also engaging, inclusive, and accessible. I approach each project by conducting in-depth user research, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and iterating on feedback to deliver solutions that meet both user needs and business goals.

With expertise in tools like Figma, Miro, and Canva, and a proven track record of delivering intuitive designs, I thrive on solving complex problems and transforming ideas into impactful digital products. My unique blend of creativity, technical proficiency, and a user-first mindset allows me to contribute to innovative solutions that help businesses grow while delivering exceptional user experiences.

Currently, I am working with start-up shaping the user experience for an international e-commerce platform for clothing and accessories. My work focuses on simplifying the user journey, improving accessibility, and enhancing platform performance to serve key markets like the UK, US, Europe, and Australia. The goal is to foster frictionless shopping experiences that boost customer engagement, drive revenue, and build lasting brand loyalty.

At the Royal Institute of Philosophy, I am redesigning its digital presence to make philosophical resources more accessible and engaging. By focusing on inclusivity and usability, I am helping to broaden its audience and amplify its impact.

As part of Hackathon 'Hactivism Project', by Politechs,  I co-designed a voter engagement platform that won 2nd prize. By focusing on accessibility and clarity, I helped create a solution that addressed user pain points around election information, integrating features like detailed candidate guides, unbiased election data, and an AI chatbot for ease of use.

During my time at CareerFoundry, I designed innovative applications like the Olive Fitness App, which empowers users to achieve their health goals through expert-driven features. I also created the Vocab App, a language-learning solution tailored for travelers, and a responsive web app for property investment. These projects focused on research-driven design, accessibility, and seamless cross-platform experiences.

Before UX, I built a foundation in Fashion Design, where I mastered collaboration and user-focused creativity, and Graphic Design, where I developed technical skills like visual communication and layout design. My background in Teaching instilled in me a deep understanding of inclusivity and designing for diverse users a perspective that I bring to every project. With expertise in tools like Figma, Miro, and Canva, I thrive on solving complex problems and delivering designs that are functional, engaging, and accessible.
