About Me

domenico-loia-hGV2TfOh0ns-unsplash.jpg

I am a UX/Product Designer driven by a simple but powerful belief, great design begins with empathy. I craft digital experiences that are not only functional, but engaging, inclusive, and accessible to all.

Every project I take on is guided by in-depth user research, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous iteration to create solutions that align user needs with business goals.

My toolkit includes Figma, Miro, and Canva, but my real strength lies in solving complex problems and transforming ideas into meaningful digital products. I thrive on challenges, they spark my creativity and push me to design smarter, more impactful solutions.

Recently, I expanded my skill set by completing GenAI for UX, deepening my understanding of how AI can enhance research, ideation, and personalized experiences. I believe that learning never stops, and I am constantly exploring emerging technologies to stay ahead and bring fresh perspectives to my work.

Some highlights of my journey include:

  • Completed an international e-commerce project in the fashion industry, focusing on simplifying interactions, improving accessibility, and enhancing the overall shopping experience to build strong brand loyalty.

  • Currently collaborating with the Royal Institute of Philosophy, redesigning its digital presence to make philosophical resources more accessible, inclusive, and engaging for a wider audience.

  • Winner at the Hackathon “Hactivism Project” by Politechs — for a voter engagement platform designed with accessibility and clarity at its core.

  • Olive Fitness App — empowering users to achieve health goals with expert-driven features.

  • Vocab App — a language-learning tool designed for travelers, focusing on seamless cross-platform usability.

  • A responsive web app for property investment, built with research-led, user-first design principles.

Before UX, my background in Fashion Design and Graphic Design gave me a strong foundation in storytelling, visual communication, and user empathy. My experience in Teaching reinforced my belief in designing for diverse audiences a lens I bring to every product I help create.

I am passionate about designing experiences that make a difference, and I believe the best solutions come from curiosity, collaboration, and a commitment to continuous growth.

"My friends and colleagues often describe me as an enthusiastic team player who consistently takes initiative and fosters encouragement ."
